Job Title: Full-Time SEN Teaching Assistant

Location: Westminster, London

Position Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Salary: £80-£100 per day

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant primary school located in the heart of Westminster, London. This is a full-time position that offers a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our students with special educational needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored support to students with special educational needs, both in and outside the classroom.
  • Collaborate with the class teacher to implement individualised learning plans for students with SEN.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Assist with the development of appropriate learning resources.
  • Support students during various activities, ensuring their engagement and progress.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and achievements.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children with special educational needs is highly desirable.
  • Relevant qualifications in education or special education are an advantage.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a passion for helping children reach their full potential.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
