The Role:

  • Position: Year 6 Teacher (Part-Time).

In this part-time role, you will work closely with the Year 6 team to deliver engaging lessons and prepare pupils for their transition to secondary school.



Key Responsibilities of a Year 6 Teacher:

  • Plan and deliver creative and effective lessons tailored to the needs of Year 6 pupils.
  • Support pupils in preparation for SATs and their move to secondary education.
  • Monitor progress and provide constructive feedback to help pupils achieve their full potential.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistency across the Year 6 cohort.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and respectful learning environment.


What We're Looking For:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching in Key Stage 2, particularly Year 6.
  • A strong understanding of the Year 6 curriculum, including SATs preparation.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • A collaborative and flexible approach to teaching.
  • A passion for helping pupils achieve their best.
