A motivated and empathetic Welfare Assistant is sought to join the Welfare/First Aid Room team of an excellent Harrow based school.
In this role, the focus will be on ensuring the physical and emotional well-being of students.
Your responsibilities as a Welfare Assistant will include:
- Providing first aid and basic medical care to students when needed.
- Offering emotional support and a listening ear to students experiencing difficulties.
- Administering medication and maintaining accurate records.
- Collaborating with teachers and parents to address the individual needs of students.
- Assisting in maintaining a clean and organized Welfare/First Aid Room.
- Contributing to the overall safety and well-being of the school community.
To excel in this role, you should possess:
- A valid first aid qualification and/or some experience working in a school environment
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and a compassionate nature.
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
- Previous experience in a similar role or a keen interest in student welfare.
- Adaptability and a team-oriented mindset.
- The ability to actively listen and connect with students.
