Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM (30-minute lunch break)
Pay Rate: £13.69 to £15.83 per hour

Reeson Education is recruiting an experienced and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a friendly and inclusive primary school in the M19 area of Manchester. This Teaching Assistant role will start on Monday 28th April and is a full-time, long-term position supporting a Year 3 class with a mix of general classroom support and 1:1 SEN support.
The ideal Teaching Assistant will be proactive, confident supporting pupils with additional needs, and genuinely passionate about helping children thrive both academically and emotionally. You'll work closely with the class teacher and wider team to ensure all children feel supported, understood, and encouraged in their learning journey.
Key Responsibilities for the Teaching Assistant:
Provide in-class and 1:1 support for children with additional needs.
Support learning and emotional well-being in a Year 3 classroom.
Implement strategies for behaviour, communication, and SEN support.
Collaborate with the teaching team to maintain a positive learning environment.
Encourage independence, engagement, and confidence in pupils.
The Ideal Teaching Assistant Will:
Have solid experience working with children or young people, ideally in a school setting.
Be a calm, patient, and reliable Teaching Assistant.
Be confident supporting pupils with SEN such as ASD, ADHD, and SEMH.
Be adaptable and able to take initiative within the classroom.
Be a team player who thrives in a collaborative and caring environment.
Teaching Assistant Requirements:
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply).
Right to work in the UK.
References covering the last 2-3 years.
A strong commitment to your role as a Teaching Assistant.
