Position: Teaching Assistant
Location: M41, Trafford

Salary: £12.83 - £14.54 per hour
Hours: 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday
Reeson Education is working with a welcoming two-form entry primary school in the M41 area to find a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support a Year 2 pupil with mild ASD and MLD. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity, offering the chance to provide one-to-one support and make a real impact in a child's learning journey.

Key Responsibilities for the Teaching Assistant:
- Work as a Teaching Assistant supporting a bright and engaging Year 2 pupil
- Break down tasks into manageable steps, ensuring understanding and engagement
- Provide one-to-one support to help the pupil stay focused and on track
- Encourage confidence, build social skills, and support friendship development
- Create a calm and reassuring presence to ease the pupil's anxiety
Requirements for the Teaching Assistant:
- A passion for supporting children in their learning and social development
- A patient, positive, and nurturing approach
- Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role is desirable
- Ability to build trust and rapport with pupils, especially those with additional needs
- Commitment to making a meaningful difference in a child's school experience
