A vibrant primary school is seeking an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant with experience in Outdoor Play, Learning, or Forest School to join their team. This exciting role involves providing PPA cover across the school, engaging whole classes in dynamic and educational outdoor activities. The position is available for an ASAP start.
Key Responsibilities for the Teaching Assistant:
- Teaching assistant to lead Outdoor Play and Forest School sessions that inspire curiosity and teamwork.
- Teaching assistant to provide full-class PPA cover, delivering engaging lessons across all year groups.
- Foster a love for nature and outdoor learning among pupils.
- Support teachers in creating a rich and stimulating learning environment.
- Encourage creativity, exploration, and hands-on learning experiences.
What We're Looking For in a Teaching Assistant:
- Prior experience with Forest School or Outdoor Learning is highly desirable.
- Confidence in managing whole classes and delivering engaging activities.
- A proactive and creative approach to working with children.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to process one.
