A Teaching Assistant is needed in an All-Girls Secondary School & Sixth Form in South East London.
This Teaching Assistant post will be full time and permanent.
The working hours for this Teaching Assistant role will 08:30am to 3:10pm a day, Monday to Friday.
Applicants for this Teaching Assistant will ideally have a Level 3 NVQ or UK Bachelor's Degree. First Aid Training and additional support based qualifications would be highly desirable.
If appointed as a Teaching Assistant you will work in the SEN Department and be expected to:
- Support pupils in small groups and 1:1 basis
- Work alongside the SEN Lead to create plans for pupils work programmes
- Assist class teachers during lessons
- Occasionally cover classes for short periods when the teacher needs to leave the room
The salary for this Teaching Assistant role will be between £19732.99 and £20657.45, depending on the qualifications and experiences of each applicant.

Requirements
You will be considered if you are a recent Graduate or experienced Teaching Assistant.
Applications are also welcome if you are a British trained Teaching Assistant or overseas trained Teaching Assistant.

- Right to work in the UK
- Clear and up to date Enhanced DBS
- Level 3 NVQ or an overseas equivalent
- Experience as a Teaching Assistant in UK schools
