Role of a Teaching Assistant:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting students both inside and outside of the classroom. You will work closely with the class teacher to deliver high-quality lessons, support students' learning needs, and help foster a positive and inclusive learning environment. You will also provide 1:1 support for students and work with small groups to boost their confidence and academic progress.
Responsibilities of a Teaching Assistant:
- Assist the class teacher with delivering lessons in a variety of subjects.
- Provide individual and small group support to students.
- Help to create a positive, engaging classroom atmosphere.
- Support students with their learning and development, adapting tasks as necessary.
- Help with classroom management and ensure all students are on task.
- Promote inclusive teaching methods and encourage participation from all students.

- Proven experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar educational role.
- A passion for working with children and helping them reach their full potential.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt to various teaching methods and classroom environments.
- A team player with a proactive attitude.
- A commitment to supporting the learning needs of all students, particularly those with additional needs.
