A fantastic opportunity has arisen for Daily Supply Teaching Assistants to join primary schools across the Croydon Borough. This role is perfect for individuals looking to gain experience in a variety of settings, including Early Years, Key Stages 1 and 2, and Special Educational Needs (SEN).

Teaching Assistant Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to teachers and pupils in a classroom setting.
  • Assist with learning activities, ensuring all pupils can access the curriculum.
  • Work in different schools and year groups, adapting to varied environments and needs.
  • Support pupils with additional needs, including SEN, on a one-to-one or group basis.
  • Help maintain a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning atmosphere.

What We're Looking For:

  • Previous experience in a school setting is desirable but not essential.
  • A flexible, proactive, and positive approach to working in different environments.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with pupils and staff.
  • A willingness to support a range of needs, including SEN, as required.
  • An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
