Reeson Education is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a primary school's SEN unit in Lambeth. This role provides an opportunity to work with primary-aged children with Autism in a structured and supportive setting.

- Class Structure: Classes of 10 students, supported by 4 Teaching Assistants
Responsibilities for SEN Teaching Assistant:
- As an SEN Teaching Assistant, support primary-aged children with Autism in a dedicated SEN unit.
- Work closely with the class teacher and fellow teaching assistants to deliver tailored educational plans.
- Create and maintain a nurturing, structured learning environment.
- Facilitate both one-on-one and group activities to aid student's academic and social development.
- Be proactive in meeting the individual needs of each student, ensuring a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
Requirements for SEN Teaching Assistant:
- Previous experience as an SEN Teaching Assistant, especially with children with Autism, is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A proactive, empathetic, and patient approach to supporting SEN students.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with a team and contribute positively to the classroom environment.
- A valid DBS check is desirable and readiness to start immediately after half term.
