Supporting Children with Autism, Global Delay, and Behavioural Challenges
Reeson Education is actively recruiting a Full-Time Teaching Assistant to join a school in Battersea. This role involves providing crucial support to children in the Reception age group with a focus on Autism, Global Delay, and behavioural challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 and group support to children with Autism, Global Delay, and behavioural challenges.
- Implement and adapt Individual Education Plans (IEPs) to meet specific needs.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Collaborate with the class teacher and SENCO to ensure effective support.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, particularly in SEN.
- Understanding of the specific needs associated with Autism, Global Delay, and behavioural challenges.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Empathy and patience in supporting children with special educational needs.
