Spanish Teacher

A Spanish Teacher is needed in an All-Boys Secondary School & Sixth Form in South West London.

This Spanish Teacher role will be part time, 3 days a week, Wednesdays to Fridays.

If appointed as a Spanish Teacher you will be required to teach Spanish from KS3 to KS5.

Standard class teacher responsibilities will apply for this Spanish Teacher post. This includes but isn't limited to; planning lessons, assessing pupil progress and attending meetings.

The rates of pay for this Spanish Teacher role will be between £190 and £300 a day, depending on the qualifications and experience of each applicant.

The School

This is a 'Good' all-boys school that has rich and extensive tradition when it comes to Sport and STEM.

Many professional sportsmen have studied at the school.

There is a Gifted and Talented programme at the school which provides support to the top 5 - 10% of pupils in each year group.

Each department organises trips and runs extracurricular activities to establish an environment of inclusion.

In addition to this, the school has received several awards such as Healthy Schools, Education Business Partnership, FA Charter Standard and Sport England.

Requirements

You are encouraged to apply if you are a recently qualified Spanish Teacher or experienced Spanish Teacher.

Applications are also welcome if you are a British trained Spanish Teacher or overseas trained Spanish Teacher.

All applicants must have the following criteria in order to be considered for this position as a Spanish Teacher:

  • UK QTS or equivalent
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Clear and updated Enhanced DBS
  • Experience as a Spanish Teacher in UK schools
