Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

Pay Rates: £12.83 - £13.83 per hour
Schedule: Monday to Friday, Full-time
We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant primary school in Salford, Manchester. This full-time position, commencing in January 2025, involves working with Key Stage 1 students to support their educational and developmental needs. SEN Teaching Assistant Responsibilities:
- Provide individualised support to students with special educational needs ensuring they can access the curriculum effectively.
- Work closely with classroom teachers to design and implement tailored learning activities that cater to each student's unique requirements.
- Observe and document student progress, offering constructive feedback and adapting support strategies as necessary.
- Contribute to creating a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom atmosphere that encourages student engagement and success.
SEN Teaching Assistant Qualifications:
- Prior experience working with children with special educational needs particularly within a primary school setting, is highly desirable.
- Understanding of various SEN conditions and effective support methods.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, enabling effective collaboration with students, staff, and parents.
- Relevant qualifications in education or child development are advantageous but not essential.
