Your Role as an SEN Teaching Assistant:
- Support pupils with SEN, including autism, ADHD, and other learning difficulties, within a dedicated SEN unit.
- Work 1:1 or in small groups, tailoring your support to meet individual needs.
- Collaborate with SENCOs, teachers, and therapists to implement personalised education plans.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment that promotes learning and well-being.
What We're Looking for in an SEN Teaching Assistant:
- Experience working with pupils with special educational needs, particularly in an SEN unit setting.
- A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to supporting pupils.
