SEN Teaching Assistant | 1:1 and Group Support | £80-£100 Per Day | East London
Reeson Education is looking for an enthusiastic and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to work in schools across the borough of Waltham Forest, including areas such as Walthamstow, Leyton, Leytonstone, and Chingford. This is a fantastic opportunity to provide meaningful support to pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN).

Your Role as an SEN Teaching Assistant:
- Provide dedicated 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEN, such as Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
- Assist teachers in adapting lesson plans and resources to suit individual learning needs.
- Promote independence and build confidence in pupils, ensuring they feel included and supported.
- Foster a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment for all learners.
What We're Looking for in an SEN Teaching Assistant:
- Experience supporting children with SEN, including those with complex needs.
- A calm, empathetic, and proactive approach to working with children.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and families.
- Relevant qualifications, such as a Level 2/3 in Childcare or SEN-specific training, are advantageous.
