SEN Teaching Assistant | £80-£100 per day | ASAP Start | Enfield, North London

Your Role as an SEN Teaching Assistant:

  • Provide one-on-one and group support to children with SEN, helping them access the curriculum and reach their learning goals.
  • Adapt learning activities to meet the needs of individual students, using strategies that promote engagement and development.
  • Assist with the implementation of individual education plans (IEPs), working closely with the SENCO and classroom teachers.
  • Help create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every child feels valued and supported.
  • Monitor progress and provide feedback to teachers and parents, helping to tailor future learning activities.

We're Looking For in an SEN Teaching Assistant:

  • Experience working with children with SEN, particularly Autism, ADHD, or other learning difficulties.
  • A patient, caring, and proactive approach to supporting students' needs.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and other staff.
  • A commitment to promoting inclusion and making a positive impact in students' educational experiences.
