Role Overview:

Key Responsibilities:
- One-on-One Support: The SEN Teaching Assistant will offer individualised assistance to the EYFS pupil with Autism, ensuring they are fully supported throughout their daily activities and routines.
- Behavioural Support: Implementing and following behaviour management strategies to help the pupil develop positive social interactions and stay focused during class.
- Learning Adaptation: Assisting in adapting learning materials and activities to meet the specific needs of the pupil, ensuring they can participate and learn effectively.
- Collaborative Work: Work closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and other staff members to create and implement an effective learning and support plan for the child.
- Progress Monitoring: Regularly monitor and assess the pupil's progress, adjusting strategies as needed and communicating developments to the teaching team.
