Contract: Full-time, Long-term
Salary: £90 - £110 per day (dependent on experience)

An inclusive and supportive primary school in Lambeth is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to work within their KS1 department, supporting pupils with special educational needs. The Role - SEN Teaching Assistant (KS1):
- Provide 1:1 or small group support for children with SEN in KS1
- Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement tailored learning strategies
- Support pupils with a range of needs including autism, speech and language difficulties, and social-emotional challenges
- Encourage independence, confidence, and engagement in learning
- Maintain a calm, nurturing and inclusive classroom environment
What We're Looking For:
- Previous experience supporting children with SEN (essential)
- Knowledge of the primary curriculum, particularly in KS1
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, empathy and a positive, proactive approach
- A valid DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one
