A specialist SEN school in West London is looking for a dedicated and experienced SEN Secondary Teacher to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator who wants to make a real difference in the lives of young people with special educational needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and adapted lessons tailored across KS3-4 to the needs of students with SEN
- Create an inclusive and supportive learning environment
- Work closely with teaching assistants, therapists, and SENCOs to support student development
- Differentiate lessons to meet a range of learning needs, including those with ASD, ADHD, and complex needs
- Monitor and assess student progress, implementing individual learning plans where necessary
- Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and staff
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience working in a special education setting or supporting students with SEN
- Strong behaviour management skills and a calm, patient approach
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to support individual learning needs
- A commitment to inclusion and high expectations for all students
