SEN Teacher - Full Time - South East London - January Start

Are you a resilient and compassionate individual with teaching experience?

We are currently recruiting for an experienced SEN Teacher to work full time at a special needs school based in South East London. This school's focus is on creating a personalised curriculum where young autistic individuals can get the best start in life, working in smaller classrooms to encourage engagement.

Responsibilities:

  • Adapt teaching style to better suit each individuals needs
  • Teach across Key Stage 1 - Key Stage 2
  • Keep up to date with safeguarding/health and safety policies of the school
  • Understand how autism can create barriers to learning and how to overcome them
  • Consistently use positive behaviour techniques
