SEN Teacher - Full Time - South East London - January Start

Are you a committed and hardworking individual with teaching experience?

We are currently recruiting for a SEN Teacher Assistant to work full time at a special needs school in South East London. This is an independent school, teaching across Key Stage 1 - Key Stage 2.

This schools focus is on providing a safe and vibrant learning community where young autistic individuals can receive a great start to life, inside and outside of school.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining safeguarding/health and safety policies of the school
  • Understand barriers to learning and how to overcome them
  • Adapt teaching style to better suit each individuals needs
  • Use positive behaviour techniques to encourage engagement
