SEN Teacher Required - Autism Provision - Lambeth

Position: SEN Teacher
Location: Lambeth, Autism Unit
Start Date: ASAP
Age Range: Year 2 to Year 4 students
Class Size: 10 pupils
Support Staff: 3-4 LSAs per class

A SEN Teacher is sought for an Autism Provision within a primary school in Lambeth, catering to a small group of 10 students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The ideal candidate will be an experienced and confident professional, capable of quickly adapting to the role and creating a structured, supportive learning environment. The class is supported by 3-4 LSAs, ensuring ample assistance to help meet each student's individual needs.

Key Responsibilities for the SEN Teacher:

  • Plan and deliver tailored lessons that address the specific educational and behavioural requirements of students with Autism.
  • Collaborate effectively with LSAs to ensure that students receive the necessary one-on-one or small group support.
