SEN Intervention Teacher

Contract: Full-Time/Part-Time (Flexible), Permanent

The Role

As an SEN Intervention Teacher, you will:

  • Plan and deliver targeted intervention programs for children with SEN, including those with EHCPs and additional support needs.
  • Work closely with class teachers and support staff to identify and address learning barriers.
  • Monitor and assess progress, adapting strategies to meet individual needs.
  • Build positive relationships with pupils to support their social, emotional, and academic development.
  • Collaborate with the SENCO, parents, and external agencies to provide a cohesive support system.

What We're Looking For

We are seeking a committed professional who:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Has experience working with children with SEN, preferably in an intervention or small-group setting.
  • Demonstrates a strong understanding of a range of SEN, including ASD, ADHD, and speech and language difficulties.
  • Is patient, empathetic, and passionate about enabling every child to succeed.
  • Can use a variety of strategies to engage and inspire learners with different needs.
  • Is organized, flexible, and able to work collaboratively within a team.
