Key Responsibilities of a Nursery Nurse:
- Provide high-quality care and educational support to children aged 0-5 years.
- Assist in delivering the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
- Plan and lead engaging and age-appropriate activities that support children's development.
- Ensure a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for all children.
- Build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to support learning.
- Monitor and record children's progress, sharing updates with parents and carers.
- Follow safeguarding policies and promote the well-being of every child.
What we're looking for in a Nursery Nurse:
- Level 3 childcare qualification (CACHE, NVQ, or equivalent).
- Previous experience as a Nursery Nurse, Early Years Practitioner, or Nursery Assistant.
- Good knowledge of the EYFS framework and child development.
- A warm, caring, and enthusiastic approach to working with young children.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
