Looking for flexible hours in friendly and engaging nursery settings? Reeson Education is hiring qualified Nursery Assistants to work across day nurseries and children's centres in Waltham Forest, supporting babies and young children through play, care, and early learning.

This is a great role for a qualified Nursery Assistant seeking flexible, shift-based work with the option to pick 4-8 hour shifts between 8am and 6pm, depending on your availability.

Job Overview:

  • Role: Nursery Assistant

  • Hours: Flexible - part-time or full-time shift options

Responsibilities of a Nursery Assistant:

  • Supporting the day-to-day needs of children aged 0-5

  • Helping to plan and deliver stimulating activities based on EYFS

  • Ensuring a clean, safe and secure environment for all children

  • Working collaboratively with staff to meet individual child needs

  • Supporting children during transitions, outdoor play, and quiet time

What We Need from You:

  • Level 2 or 3 qualification in Childcare (or equivalent)

  • A genuine love of working with children in early years

  • Flexibility and reliability - able to adapt to different settings

  • A valid enhanced DBS on the update service or willing to apply
