The Role:
- Position: Level 2/3 Nursery Assistant.
- Salary: £26,000 - £30,000 per year (dependent on experience).
- Hours: 40 hours per week.
- Annual Leave: 28 days.
- Start Date: ASAP.
- Location: Leytonstone, East London.
As a Nursery Assistant, you will work closely with a dedicated team to create a safe, stimulating, and engaging environment where young children can develop and thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality care and education for children aged 0-5.
- Plan and deliver fun, age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS framework.
- Support children's social, emotional, and cognitive development through play-based learning.
- Assist with meal times, hygiene, and maintaining a safe and clean nursery environment.
- Build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Observe and monitor children's progress, updating learning journals as needed.
What We're Looking For:
- Minimum Level 2 Childcare Qualification (CACHE, NVQ, or equivalent) - Level 3 preferred.
- Experience working in a nursery, preschool, or early years setting.
- A caring, nurturing, and enthusiastic approach to working with young children.
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and child development principles.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
