Nursery Assistant
Location: Southfields, SW19
Working Pattern: 4 Days Per Week
Start Date: April 2025

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Assistant to join a welcoming nursery in Southfields. This part-time role is perfect for someone passionate about Early Years education who thrives in a nurturing and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the daily care and education of children in the nursery.
- Support children's learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Foster a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment where children can thrive.
- Work closely with the team to plan and deliver engaging activities tailored to the developmental needs of each child.
- Promote positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Support with meal times, hygiene routines, and outdoor play activities.
What We're Looking For:
- Qualifications: A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years is desirable but not essential.
- Experience: Prior experience working in a nursery or Early Years setting is advantageous.
- Skills: A caring and patient nature, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Passion: A genuine love for working with young children and supporting their growth and development.
- Commitment: Availability to work four days a week, starting in April 2025.
