Montessori Teacher - Greenwich
Location: Greenwich (Near Maze Hill Station)
Salary: £32,000 - £45,000 per annum (Dependent on experience)
Contract: Full-Time, Permanent
Start Date: March 2025
A Greenwich-based school is seeking a qualified Montessori Teacher to join their dedicated Early Years team. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator who believes in the Montessori approach and is committed to nurturing young learners.
The Role of Montessori Teacher:
- Plan and deliver child-centred, hands-on learning in line with Montessori principles
- Create a calm, stimulating, and structured environment for independent learning
- Guide children's social, emotional, and cognitive development through self-directed activities
- Work closely with parents and staff to support each child's individual journey
Requirements for this Montessori Teacher role:
- A recognised Montessori qualification (e.g., AMI, MCI, or equivalent)
- Experience working in an Early Years or Primary Montessori setting
- A deep understanding of the Montessori philosophy and teaching methods
- A patient, nurturing, and adaptable approach to education
