- A successful, small alternative provision PRU school in Croydon are looking for a Maths teacher for their KS3 campus
- The school cater to permanently excluded young people and provide short term intervention programs catered to each student who are struggling to learn in a mainstream environment
- Class sizes are extremely small and there is a wealth of resources and lessons provided
- Students have access to many activities both indoor and outdoor to promote independence, safety and re engagement into a mainstream environment
The Maths Teacher Vacancy
- To start after the half term, the Maths teacher will have strong knowledge of the UK national curriculum
- The Maths Teacher post is being on a temporary to permanent basis with the school open to applications from ECTs and experienced teachers from mainstream or special schools.
- The classes are very small and there is a real focus on personalised learning.

The Ideal Maths Teacher Applicant:
- All Maths Teacher applicants must have QTS.
- Strong behaviour management
- Have a passion for teaching students who struggle with mainstream school
- Experience teaching within an alternative provisions environment or a secondary school environment
- A good understanding of the KS3 Mathematics curriculum
- The ability to prepare and teach effective lessons taking into account the individual needs of learners.
- A creative approach to lesson planning.
- A patient, calm and engaging classroom manner.
- Strong communication and team leadership skills.
- Registered DBS or be prepared to carry out a new DBS application.
