We are currently recruiting for a Maths and Science Teacher to work full time at a special needs school based in West London (Chiswick). This fantastic special needs school goes above and beyond for young autistic individuals by making sure they have a great support system, helping them to feel understood and taking the time to understand their communication needs.
Responsibilities:
- Keep up to date with safeguarding/health and safety policies of the school
- Adapt teaching style to meet the personalised needs of each individual
- Plan and teach high quality lessons across Key Stage 3 and 4
- Know how ASD can create barriers to learning and how to overcome them
- Use positive behaviour techniques
