This is an ideal position for a Learning Support Assistant who is passionate about inclusive education and supporting pupils in their academic and social development.
The Role:
- Position: Learning Support Assistant.
- Salary: £80-£100 per day, depending on experience.
- Location: Enfield, North London.
- Start Date: Immediate.
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with pupils who need extra help in the classroom, ensuring they stay engaged and on track with their learning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in delivering tailored learning interventions for pupils with SEN or additional needs.
- Provide 1:1 and small group support, adapting teaching materials when necessary.
- Help manage classroom behaviour, ensuring a positive learning environment.
- Encourage pupils' confidence, social skills, and academic progress.
- Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and other support staff to enhance pupil learning.
What We're Looking For:
- Previous experience as a Learning Support Assistant, Teaching Assistant, or in a similar role.
- A patient, nurturing, and adaptable approach to working with children.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- A passion for helping children overcome learning barriers.
- Experience with ASD, dyslexia, or SEMH is desirable but not essential.
