The Role:
- Position: Learning Support Assistant.

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will provide tailored 1:1 support to a pupil with SEN, helping them engage with learning and achieve their potential.
Responsibilities:
- Offer focused 1:1 support, adapting strategies to meet the child's individual needs.
- Assist the class teacher in creating an inclusive environment where every child can thrive.
- Foster confidence and independence in the pupil by building a trusting relationship.
- Collaborate with teachers, SENCO, and other professionals to monitor progress and ensure consistent support.
- Use creative approaches to overcome barriers to learning.
What We're Looking For:
- Previous experience as a Learning Support Assistant, particularly with SEN pupils.
- A calm, empathetic approach and the ability to manage challenging behaviour effectively.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs.
