SEN Teaching Assistant - 1:1 Support - Putney
Mainstream Primary School | Full-Time | Immediate/April Start
We are working with a welcoming, supportive mainstream primary school in Putney who are seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to work closely on a 1:1 basis with a child in Year 5 who has special educational needs.
The Role:
✔ Full-time, Monday to Friday (8:20am to 4pm)
✔ Immediate or April start
✔ Supporting a child with SEN (social and emotional needs) on a 1:1 basis
✔ Building trust, consistency, and positive relationships is essential
✔ Long-term commitment is needed to ensure stability and ongoing progress for the child
What We're Looking For:
✅ Strong SEN experience, particularly with children requiring emotional support and trust-building
✅ A nurturing, patient, and empathetic approach
✅ Experience working 1:1 in a primary school setting
✅ Ability to work closely with class teachers, the SENCO, and external professionals
✅ Committed to making a positive impact on the child's development and well-being
