Location: Greenwich (Near Blackheath Station)
Salary: £13.50 - £16.50 depending on experience

A welcoming and high-achieving school in Greenwich is seeking an HR Assistant to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a detail-oriented and proactive individual with HR experience to support the smooth running of school operations.
Key Responsibilities of the HR Assistant:
- Assist with safer recruitment processes, including advertising vacancies and arranging interviews
- Maintain staff records, contracts, and compliance documentation
- Support the onboarding of new employees, ensuring all safeguarding checks are completed
- Manage HR administration, including payroll queries, absence records, and policy updates
- Provide general support to senior leadership and the HR team
Requirements for this HR Assistant role:
- Experience in an HR or administrative role, ideally in a school setting
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Knowledge of HR policies, employment law, and safeguarding procedures (preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR software
- Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially
