A Graduate Teaching Assistant is needed in a Mixed Secondary School & Sixth Form in South West London.
This will be a full time, permanent Graduate Teaching Assistant post. Working hours at the school are 8am to 4pm, Monday to Friday.
Responsibilities for this Graduate Teaching Assistant role will include but not be limited to:
- Supporting identified students in 1:1, group or whole class situations
- Working with the teachers to ensure each student's learning needs are identified
- Leading small group sessions and interventions
- Attending to students' personal needs when required
- Supporting behaviour management and using appropriate strategies in line with academy policy
- Undertaking learning activities/teaching programmes when needed
The salary for this Graduate Teaching Assistant position will be between £17550 and £18525, depending on the qualifications and experiences of each applicant.

An 'Outstanding' Secondary school and sixth form in South London, located near a Site of Nature Conservation Interest (SNCI).
It is a mixed, 11 - 18, non-selective school with a wide demographic of pupils and staff.

Requirements

You are also welcome to apply if you are a British trained Graduate Teaching Assistant or overseas trained Graduate Teaching Assistant.

- Right to work in the UK
- Clear and up to date Enhanced DBS
- UK Bachelor's Degree or overseas equivalent
- Experience of working with children or knowledge of the National Curriculum in England
